ON A MISSION TO HELP STUDENTS WITH DYSLEXIA
Hello! Welcome to the High Five House ! My name is Susan Beddingfield, and I am on a mission to help students with dyslexia realize their brilliance and reach their maximum academic potential. Why I am so committed to this purpose? Well, about 12 years ago dyslexia hit home for my family when my third daughter was not learning to read.
Even though she was obviously gifted with a creative and brilliant mind, it just seemed like the harder she tried, the more she struggled. However, once I was trained in the Orton-Gillingham methods of multi sensory instruction, and used them to teach Katy, she began to excel. She not only progressed in reading and spelling, but in all areas of her academics.

My daughter’s story laid the foundation for the High Five House. I have been a tutor for dyslexic students since 2008, and I have helped many students transform their own home into a “High Five House” simply by being taught the way they learn.I firmly believe that together we can do the same for you!
