One entry took me to January of 2004, the beginning of a new year when I was frustrated with myself as a woman, wife, and parent, and no doubt taunted by a burdensome list of new year’s resolutions. With sincerity, I poured my heart out to God in search of peace. It read,
“Lord,
Thank you for this new year.
Say the word “Homework” out loud, and you will probably notice a physical reaction as a result. Does your heartrate increase a bit or your tummy feel a bit queasy?
John 15 – I am the vine and you are the branches as long as you remain in me you will bear much fruit. ask anything you wish in my name and it will be given to you. It is for my glory that you bear much fruit
